The Strathalan integrated community project is the staged redevelopment of the original Baptcare aged care community site.  Stage 2, is delivered in five separable portions, comprising construction of a new four storey building with 37 Independent Living Apartments, two lifts and basement car parking for 43 vehicles.  The building includes a Wellbeing Centre, private lounge areas, gymnasium, commercial kitchen, dining room, hair salon, library, and outdoor elevated terraces.

The project required a staged permit for structure, earthworks and in-ground services to enable construction to commence whist documentation was completed and permits secured for the balance of the project.

Managing the completion of construction documentation, securing approvals and execution of the construction program and methodology to ensure program duration and milestones are achieved to meet the Client’s occupancy requirements.

Construction works were undertaken in a manner that minimises disruption/inconvenience to the retirement village operations/residents and surrounding neighbours.

The effective management of multiple stakeholders minimising the impact of construction activities on the retirement village operations/residents and surrounding neighbours with the containment of dust, noise and construction activities.
