Staged redevelopment of a residential aged care and community precinct, completed as four separable portions. Comprising construction of new 120 bed residential aged care facility, resident wellness/activity areas, community consulting suites and community dialysis facility.
Separable portion 1 comprises construction of a new 60 bed residential aged care facility including commercial kitchen, laundry and maintenance areas. Also included is the construction of a new car park and drop off area, new consulting suites and link way to the existing hostel accommodation building.
Separable portion 2 includes partial demolition of an existing residential accommodation building, construction of a new dialysis facility, decanting the existing dialysis facility, demolition of an existing link way and construction of new car parking.
Separable portion 3 comprises demolition of the remainder of the North-West building with Separable Portion 4 being the construction of a new west wing residential accommodation with 60 beds and associated landscape works.

Successfully managing a limited site area for construction zones that required progressive relocation to minimise the impact of construction to residents and enable the manoeuvring of plant, equipment and materials.
The successful commissioning and progressive handover of each separable portion, enabling the operation of health care services including the community dialysis facility.
Minimal impact of construction activities on the retirement village operations/residents and surrounding neighbours with the containment of dust, noise and construction activities.
