CRAIGIEBURN LEISURE CENTRE – TWO COURT EXTENSION

Craigieburn

Extension of the existing Leisure Centre indoor stadium to provide two new basketball courts including a new show court with both retractable and fixed seating for up to1300 spectators. Additional new facilities include unisex change / amenity areas, separate new referee change rooms, reception and link to existing Centre.

The new building structure comprised of a suspended slab on bored piers with a steel portal framed superstructure. The building fabric comprised pre-finished insulated wall panels, double glazing, and insulated floors and roof.

Works required partial demolition of the existing structure to enable connection of the new two court extension.
