CROWN STREET COMMUNITY HUB
The project comprised the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new 2,500m2 community centre with multipurpose rooms, consulting rooms, cafe, education zone & medical treatment rooms. The adjoining community functions room was refurbished including new commercial kitchen facilities.
The angular building façade and canopies comprise of a mixture of compressed cement sheet cladding, masonry & intricate colorbond metal cladding. The project included extensive landscaping with new off street car parking for forty vehicles.
The Centre is an integrated family and children’s services with long day-care, four year old kindergarten, alternative care, toy library, and consulting rooms for visiting medical professionals.
