Risk Management

RISK MANAGEMENT

Devco has a documented procedure for Risk Management which is used to outline processes and responsibilities for the identification, communication, management and reporting of potential risks/opportunities requiring consideration on a project.

A project specific Risk Management Plan is created and continually reviewed for the life of the project. The plan will include a summary of significant risks and the control and mitigation steps to be used in their minimisation.

Our construction plan details build methodology and processes that incorporate risk management procedures that are integrated into our systems and processes. Our overall methodology incorporates risk management elements from tendering a project, construction, handover and throughout the defects liability period.

Ongoing consultation with the client and their representatives is an integral component of our methodology to ensure that progress and information is disseminated in a comprehensive and timely manner.

Devco conducts an annual review of the corporation’s risk policy and supporting framework to maintain its effectiveness and adequacy. Independent external reviews of risk management are undertaken periodically to ensure better practice is maintained.
