The development of a new sub-regional soccer centre with two full size soccer pitches, a social and change pavilion, a vegetation zone and car parking. The change pavilion includes player and referee change rooms, first aid room with associated facilities. The social pavilion includes multi-purpose function room, kitchen/servery, cool store, meeting room and amenities.
Works include demolition of existing structures, asbestos removal, removal of over 80 soft spots and replacement with cement stabilised fill. A septic system is installed with recycled water being used to irrigate landscaped areas. The pitch and car park areas are serviced with 18m highlighting towers.
When complete the Centre will cater for over 600 players. The FIFA star-rated, all weather synthetic pitches will ensure the facility can cater from all levels of the sport, from senior to junior competitions.
