Stage 1
Construction of a new year 7-9 class room building and new administration building with a total floor area of 2440 m2. The class room building includes fourteen general purpose learning areas, three project spaces and three external learning areas. The administration building has conference, office and staff facilities.
External works included on-grade parking for fifty vehicles, landscaping with rammed earth retaining walls.
Stage 2
Construction of a new Design, Arts, Technology and Science (DATS) Building with a total floor area of 2100 m2. The DATS building includes three arts rooms, wood and metal technology rooms, four laboratories and two open plan design theory spaces.
External works included internal landscaped garden area and extensive external soft landscaping and pavement areas.
Sustainability initiatives include a Building Management System (BMS) controlling heating/cooling and natural ventilation through temperature, wind, rain and internal CO2 sensors. Display panels, located centrally in common areas, illustrate consumption of water, power, gas, together with carbon emissions which are reported and reviewed monthly.
