KING DAVID SCHOOL MAGID CAMPUS, EAST WING

Armadale

The project scope comprised the demolition of a two storey brick building and construction of a new three-level education facility. The new building, which connects to the adjacent science building, includes twenty learning areas, reception, offices, staff lounge, amenities, and lift.

Construction materials include suspended post-tensioned slabs, concrete columns, load-bearing masonry, and a steel framed structure for the upper level with a metal deck roof.

The external finishes are a combination of masonry, pre-finished compressed sheet, metal cladding, perforated metal panels and aluminium louvres. There are bespoke timber window frames with extensive use of internally laminated wall panelling.
